Office Furniture Installation at a new Manufacturing Facility in Burnaby, BC

This setup ensured that each office maintained a sleek, professional look while providing the necessary functionality for individual work.

Client Background

The client, a prominent manufacturer based in Burnaby, BC, recently moved into a newly renovated facility. The objective was to create a modern and functional workspace that leveraged natural light and provided employees with a comfortable and efficient environment. Our team was tasked with the comprehensive installation of office furniture throughout the new location.

Design and Aesthetics

The entire space was designed with a modern aesthetic in mind. We used white worksurfaces to create a clean and contemporary look, complemented by grainy woodgrain accents on the pedestals and select divider panels. Clear glass was strategically placed in the workstations to allow natural light to permeate throughout the office, enhancing the overall ambiance.

Open Area Workstations

For the open area, we provided twelve 66” x 80” workstations using a modern panel system. Each workstation was equipped with overhead bins, drawer pedestals, full and partial height panels, and an integrated electrical system. The design aimed to maximize the use of natural light, contributing to a bright and inviting atmosphere.

Private Offices

In addition to the open area workstations, we furnished eight private offices. These offices featured a modern, open workstation design with sturdy metal legs, wall-mounted overhead bins, task lighting, and tackboards. This setup ensured that each office maintained a sleek, professional look while providing the necessary functionality for individual work.

Boardroom Setup

In the boardroom, we installed a 14-foot table featuring a power deck and modern metal legs, designed to support collaborative meetings and presentations. The boardroom’s design mirrored the modern aesthetic of the rest of the facility.

Lunchroom Setup

The project also included the setup of two lunchrooms, designed to complement the overall aesthetic while providing functional and comfortable spaces for employees to take breaks and socialize.

Project Summary

Overall, the project consisted of the installation of twelve panel workstations, eight private offices, a boardroom, and two lunchrooms. The successful implementation of modern furniture solutions has resulted in a functional and aesthetically pleasing office environment that enhances productivity and employee satisfaction.
